Kids Ministry

Every Sunday, your children, K – 5th grade, come to a “Real Life Kids” service where they experience dynamic worship and Biblical teaching.

Fun

Your kids will have a blast!

Safe

Committed to keeping kids safe.

Clean

Our rooms are kept spotless.

Royalty On Parade is a talent and fashion showcase that allows our EC Kids to take center stage and shine in front of friends and family. This show allows our kids to develop their public speaking skills and other talents and gives them the confidence to tackle the new school year head-on.

We have amazing programs from babies to preschool to elementary-aged kids.

At Evangelistic Center, we love kids! We design creative, fun, and interactive programs for every age and stage with music, games, and storytelling. Kids learn about God’s love in a dynamic way each week because we know it matters. We want kids to make friends, have fun, and learn about Jesus in real and relevant ways.

The EC Kids Youtube Channel is full of fun teaching videos for your kids to help them develope in their relationship with Jesus.

Our Vision For Kids

We are not babysitting, we are creating next-generation leaders and world-changers.

Birth - 2 Years

Your baby will experience personal care from our well-staffed team. We keep our nursery rooms ready for your little ones with age-appropriate toys that are thoroughly cleaned between services. We also take time to love and pray for your baby each week.

3 Years - 4 Years

In preschool, children start to engage more with their church experience, so we help them interact and build their faith through stories, crafts, and songs that give them Biblical truths. They also start to form relationships with other kids and their teachers.

K - 5th Grade

Every weekend, your children Kindergarten through fifth grade come to a Real Life Kids service where they experience dynamic worship and Biblical teaching. Together, they learn about the Bible and how to have a relationship with God, memorize Scripture, and have fun developing friendships with each other.

Pre-Teens

During our Sunday morning services, 4th, 5th, and 6th Graders will have a class designed specifically for them. 7th and 8th grades help to lead this class.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

When You Arrive

When you arrive, our team will happily show you the way to the children’s area. You’ll go to the first-time check-in station where you can tell us a little about your family to help us serve you well.

How Things Work

Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick up your child after the service. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you will receive a text on your mobile device requesting for your assitance.

Check-In

Your child is important to us. On your first visit, we need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child. This information is entered into our database to help maintain our secure check-in system.

Safety

All EC Kids volunteers pass a background check, and we have our own safety team to ensure your child’s safety. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up, and a text message paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship experience.

Pre Register

Plan your visit with us this weekend by pre-registering your child online. We will have everything prepared for your visit.

Leadership

Michelle Manning

Director of Children’s Ministry

My name is Michelle Manning and I am an active member in my community and serve as the Executive Director of EC Kids ministry.  As a mother of 6 and a devoted wife, I have dedicated my life to education and teaching because I enjoy serving others. My educational journey has led me to obtain a Bachelors of Science in Education, a Double Masters in

Curriculum and Instruction and Administration in Educational Leadership.  I hold both a license in ESL and as a Literacy Specialist.  I started my teaching career as an Elementary School Teacher, then transitioned as an Intervention Teacher for K-5 students.  I then served as an Instructional coach and is currently serving as an Elementary Vice Principal in the KCK Public Schools.

Since 2008, I have worked in various roles as a Children’s Ministry staff member at Evangelistic Center.  All of my children attended children’s ministry here and we have been very blessed by EC Kids ministry.  One of my greatest roles as a director, has been to encourage and build up families that we serve.  I love to teach children that learning about God is fun and how He can use challenging times that they may go through, to build their faith over the years to come.  It is a joy to be able to lead children as they play, learn, and explore.  Every child is a gift and is uniquely amazing in the way God intended them to be.
